Ashley Henrich

Reading Interventionist

My name is Ashley Henrich, and I am the Reading Interventionist at Memorial Elementary.  Building lifelong readers is my goal!

I graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Child Development and Learning in 2009.  I am certified to teach all subjects Grades EC-6 and English as a Second Language EC-6.  This will be my 10th year of teaching.  My teaching career began as a fourth grade teacher in the San Angelo School District in San Angelo, TX.  I have also taught fourth grade in the Carroll School District in Southlake, TX.  I also have experience teaching second grade in the Northside District in San Antonio. Before becoming a Reading Interventionist, I taught fourth grade reading and social studies at Memorial Elementary. I am honored to be a New Braunfels Unicorn!

My husband, Scott, and I have been married for almost 8 years and have one child.  We have moved to many places but are proud to call New Braunfels our home.  Go Unicorns!  We enjoy traveling, cooking out, being outdoors, and running.

I am looking forward to working with your family this school year to ensure your child is learning to his/her potential.
