8th Grade U.S. History Teacher

8th Grade Gifted and Talented Advisory Teacher

Welcome to U.S. History

Howdy! I am Francisco Dionisio and I am very excited to be teaching U.S. History at NBMS this year! I have taught U.S History before and it is by far my favorite, and most studied, historical subject. Originally I am from La Porte, Texas where I attended La Porte High School and then went on to earn an Associates degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from San Jacinto College. Then I moved to College Station where I met my wife and earned a Bachelors degree in History from Texas A&M University. While living in Bryan/College Station, I taught U.S. History and coached in Brenham, Texas. Just this past summer my wife, who is a New Braunfels native, and I moved to New Braunfels and we are expecting our first child in December.

As a new resident of New Braunfels, I look forward to two things: getting involved within the community and making sure that our students receive the best education possible. Student success is my number one priority and I strive for nothing less. I am always willing to work with parents/guardians to make sure that their student have a positive learning experience in my class. I also expect our students to come to class with a positive attitude, ready to learn something new, and ready to make some kind of improvement. That being said, please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Parental contact/involvement is important to me and is a vital part of every child's educational development.

I look forward to the 2019-2020 school year and all of the success our junior American Historians will achieve. Thank you for sharing your student with us and welcome to my classroom community!

Warmest regards,

Francisco B. Dionisio
