Welcome! My name is Sommer Latimer, and I am very excited to be teaching fourth grade at Memorial Elementary! This will be my fifth year teaching, and my first year at M.E. I am a graduate of The University of Texas. (Hook'em Horns!) I began my teaching career in Round Rock ISD as a kindergarten teacher and spent the last three years teaching fourth grade in North East ISD.

Last summer, my husband and I welcomed welcomed our son, Hudson. He is full of energy and always keeps us on our toes! We also have a dog, Oliver, and two cats, Kit and Kat. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and watching football with my family.

I love spending time with your kids and creating a fun and safe learning environment for them to grow in. I am looking forward to working with you to make it a great year for your child!
