Karen Dudley

6th Grade Science

Karen Dudley here to tell you a little bit of information about me.

My roots:

I grew up in West Texas in Odessa. Think Mighty MOJO and you are right. I was in band, the color guard captain, and on the Varsity Gymnastics team all three years.  MOJO, MOJO!

Tarleton State University

I went to Tarleton State University (Oscar P) in Stephenville, TX. I hold a Bechelor's Degree in Animal Science with a Minor in Chemistry. During my days as a Texan I worked on the Toro Team, landscaping the beautiful campus. My Junior year I was selected to collect data for the Texas A&M Agricultural Extension Agency there in Stephenville. The Research Trial being conducted was to see which level of calcium would be best absorbed into the blood of periparturient dairy cattle. Loved that experience!

I was also on the 2000 Meat Judging Team. Some accomplishments were:

2000 World Champion Beef Grader
2000 World Champion Team - Lamb Carcass
2000 High Point Individual  - High Plains Meat Judging Contest

I have been married for 17 years and we have 3 beautiful children ages 12, 10 and 9. Our children are involved in various activities after school from Football, 4-H, and Soccer. We are a die hard swine showing family.

I LOVE science and look forward to sharing my life experiences and teaching science to your child. SCIENCE ROCKS!
