Patricia Padgett

Pre-K Teacher

Welcome to Mrs. Padgett's Pre-K Class!

Our classroom is an energetic, creative, and supportive place where we come together as a community to learn and do our very best. I believe each child in our class is a valuable member in our community. Each child deserves respect and personal attention, and I will be there to help guide and foster his or her love of learning. I have so many fun things planned this year. It will be a year full of learning new and wonderful things. Best of all, we will be learning through play!

Mrs. Padgett

I am so excited to be part of the Lone Star Early Childhood Center family, home of our littlest unicorns! My name is Tricia Padgett and I am proud to introduce myself as your child's Pre-K teacher.

This is my second year here at LSECC. Previously, I taught Kindergarten and First Grade. My degrees include: Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. My teaching certifications include: Early Childhood - 6th grade, ESL Certification, and Special Education. I also hold a CDA.

My family and I live in New Braunfels and we love it! You might run into us at the Farmer's Market, Landa Park, or somewhere in Gruene. My husband and I have two boys who attend college at Texas A&M in College Station. We also have a cute dog, named Molly. I love to read, tend to my backyard garden, and go dinner and the movies. Of course, best of all, my husband and I love to visit Texas A&M any chance we get to see our boys who attend school there.

I love our school family and I can't wait to work with you and your child this year!

The best way to contact me is either by email or with a note in your child's folder. Please note, I only check my email before school, during my conference period, and after school. During the rest of my day, I will be focused on the children.

For any transportation changes, please be sure to contact me or the office as soon as possible.

My conference period is 11:20 - 11:50 am.

Scholastic Reading Club

Each month, I will send home a Scholastic Reading Club flyer. Scholastic Reading Club is a great resource for buying quality books at low prices, plus our classroom earns free books!  If you would like to order books for your child, please return your order and payment by the due date. Scholastic will ship the books directly to the school and I will put them in your child's backpack as soon as they arrive. If you are planning to surprise your child, please be sure to let me know and I will make sure the books are in a closed bag. Typically we will receive our order 1 - 2 weeks after the due date.

You may also order books online using our class link below and they will be delivered with our order.

Our class code is NRBDB

Thank you for helping our classroom library grow!
