¡Hola y Bienvenidos a mis clases de Introducción de Español y Español II Honors!
I am very excited to begin our new school year. This is my third year at NBISD and my fourteenth year as a secondary Spanish teacher (and previously French teacher). I began learning foreign languages when I was in fifth grade and never stopped. I graduated at the University of Texas with a B.A. in French with a German minor. I lived in Paris for a year and studied Spanish at Texas State University, in Mexico City and Cuernavaca, Mexico. In 2015 I earned a M.Ed. in Educational Technology. As you may gather, I am a language and technology enthusiast, and I'm thrilled that our students have their own iPads--the best of both worlds!
In our class, we will focus on speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. My wish is to inspire my students to become lifelong learners of foreign languages. I can't wait to meet everyone. It's going to be a great year! ¡Hasta pronto!
The quickest way to reach me is by email. From there we can either continue to communicate via email or set up a time to speak on the phone.
